Our Products
It is our aim to produce high quality and consistently delicious products to be enjoyed by you, the customer. All products are as stated and represented on the website, but products and packaging may be subject to change or substitution without prior notice if necessary due to unforeseeable issues. We will, of course, avoid this at all costs!
Postage Costs
Our postage costs are as follows:
Up to £50 = £4.95 per order
£50 + = FREE DELIVERY
We are also able to offer a NEXT DAY delivery service for £8.95 - Free Delivery for orders of £50 + does not apply for NEXT DAY deliveries.
Delivery Areas
Our standard delivery costs relate to UK Mainland only, however delivery can be arranged to Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands & the Isle of Man for an extra cost. FREE DELIVERY over £50 applies to UK Mainland ONLY. We can also deliver to Europe on request, at an additional cost. Sorry, but we are not able to deliver to BFPO addresses.
Whilst we have great faith in our couriers and delivery services, we cannot be held accountable for the late delivery of orders. Multiple attempts will be made to deliver your parcel in the event that no one is there to receive the package on the first attempt. Please contact us on hello@thebigyum.com if you have any delivery issues, which we will try to resolve on your behalf!
Payment
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and Maestro/Switch.
In order to place an order the first time, you will be prompted to set up an account for our ‘card payment system’ - Google Checkout. Once input, your details will be safely stored for all your subsequent purchases!
All credit card details are processed prior to orders being despatched, so please ensure that you have provided the correct details. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given. If your payment is not able to be processed for any reason, you should receive an email stating that the funds have been rejected, and why this has happened.
We will also accept payment by cheque on occasion, providing we are given notification of this prior to the order being made. We will not despatch the order until the payment has cleared.
We will only accept payment in £ Pounds Sterling.
The total value of your order will be displayed on the Checkout page. The final displayed price is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay. The postage price will be automatically calculated and added to the total. Any discount codes should be entered on the Order page, and the discount will be automatically taken off the total.
In the unlikely event that a fraudulent payment is made with a credit card, the legitimate card holder is entitled to cancel that payment and all monies will be re-credited to the card. Any queries, please contact us on hello@thebigyum.com
Cancelling your Order
Why would you cancel your delivery of tasty treats?! Don’t worry though, you can cancel if you need to!
You may cancel your order at any time by emailing us on hello@thebigyum.com. Whilst we check our email very regularly, please mark the email as ‘high priority’ and entitle it ‘ORDER CANCELLATION’ to ensure we look at your email first! We usually process our orders within 24 hours, so please cancel as soon as you can, but you MUST cancel before 11am the day after you ordered, to ensure the package is not despatched.
If you decide you wish to cancel your order AFTER receiving it, you are still eligible to return it within 7 days for a full refund. Please email us at hello@thebigyum.com for details of how to return the package. Please note that you will be liable for any postage costs incurred as a result of returning items and you should ensure that you obtain proof of postage as you send it back. We regret that a refund can only be provided for items received back in perfect condition, as it was received!
Spoilt Products
All our products are despatched in perfect condition and are packaged as securely as possible, but we understand that on occasion they can get damaged en route to customers. If for any reason your order has been spoilt by the time it gets to you, please return it and we will replace it. All reports of spoilt orders must be emailed within 7 days of the order being received to hello@thebigyum.com
